From This Lookout (with a nice little railing)
The Upper Falls are in one direction and Half Dome is in the Other...

I have a pic like the one on the Left of my son and daughter 15 years ago, same place,
but this is as far as we went on the trail due to time of day and not knowing where we were.
Andrea(Sarge's wife) and my sister-in-law is not in the pic because she just kept right on going to the top.
