Upper Yosemite Falls Trail Yosemite National Park, California

To Help Celebrate my 50th Birthday, my brother and sister,my wife & kids, my mom and some in-laws came from Oregon, Burney,San Diego, San Leandro and Silcon Valley to watch me FLY a kite on top of Yosemite Falls 3/25/00 - Kip Brockman

Starting from the Sunnyside Campground, this strenuous trail is a round-trip of 7.2 miles and takes six to eight hours to complete. It is one of the park's oldest trails and has a difficulty level of very strenuous. If you're up to a hike that ascends 2,700 feet, you're in for several treats, from the panoramic view of the Valley to the sights of the world's third-largest waterfall. Be extremely careful and stay on the trail -- steep drops adjacent to the trail could prove deadly. In the summer. bring plenty of water, as the trail can leave you parched. Trailhead is behind the Chevron station(gone now) in the Sunnyside Campground.
